Leveraging Brownfield Funding and Resource Roadmapping

When:  Apr 12, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)
Webinar by Sustainable Strategies DC, KSU TAB, and ICMA TAB

Does your community or organization want to leverage more resources for revitalization?

Join ICMA TAB and Kansas State University (KSU) TAB, on Friday, April 12, 2024, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ET for a webinar with Sustainable Stratgies DC, to learn more about how you can use a "Resource Roadmapping" approach to leveraging grants and other funding resources to transform your brownfields and revitalize your community.

The webinar will focus on how to align your priority funding needs with the best funding sources, and how to use the new technical assistance programs (TAB) being deployed by the federal government, states, and philanthropies. With the recent passage of major federal infrastructure and sustainable revitalization laws, there has never been a better time to seek this funding.

Blase Leven, director of KSU TAB, the EPA region 5, 6, 7 and 8 TAB provider, will join us to kick off the webinar with opening remarks. Then, leading the webinar on behalf of Sustainable Strategies DC (S2) will be Matt Ward, CEO of the consulting firm Sustainable Strategies DC and cofounder of the National Brownfields Coalition and the Brownfield Communities Network, as well as Debra Figueroa, a former municipal manager and principal at Sustainable Strategies DC, who has deployed federal funding to leverage millions of dollars into brownfield redevelopment.

Join and take full advantage of this amazing opportunity!
